Aggies back on the board with Kapron Lewis-Moore
Defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore committed to Texas A&M over several schools such as Oklahoma, Michigan, and Notre Dame.
"They [A&M] were the first one to offer. After all that, it just kind of hit me right there that A&M was the place for me. At first, I was kind of like, 'It doesn't matter if I go far away from home.' But as soon as I actually sat down and thought about it, I thought, 'Maybe, it's the best thing for me to stay close to home.'"
However, it may have been a visit during basketball season that meant the most to Lewis-Moore. "A&M came to three of my basketball practices and coach [Dennis] Franchione was the first coach on the open date up here. They just showed me the most support, came to the Timberview game when we clinched a spot in the playoffs. That stayed with me the whole time in the back of my mind." |
