That was a bad interview on both sides, no doubt. Pryor said he liked the coaches for about half the teams he was asked about. He seemed pretty quiet, like he didn't want a camera in his face. Farrell prefaced his questions with a short novel explaining himself, which seemed to annoy Pryor. I also like how Farrell said, "Last question," and proceeded to rattle off three more.
The one that confused me to know end is he said there are
rumors that ND wants him to play at WR. How is it that he of all people doesn't
know the story on that?! I thought the coaching staff spoke directly with Pryor and/or his coaching staff. Puzzling indeed...
This doesn't feel like a normal recruitment at all. Just last February, he was saying that his dream school would have been North Carolina:
Pittsburgh Sports Report - Double Feature. Two Sport Star Pryor a Special Talent by Chris Dokish
... but crossed them off the list because its too hot to play in North Carolina, and they're too far away. He wanted to be within 6 hours of home, so that his father could see him play.
So now, the 6 hour limit is no more, and he's considering schools that are even further away and hotter, like Florida and Alabama

? And no re-emergence of North Carolina

?
And lets remember that this guy already committed to Pittsburgh as a sophomore, then backed out of that and now isn't even mentioning them as a possibility

. I mean he mentioned wanting to leave the Pittsburgh area, but to drop them like a rock so soon...
Do I think this makes Pryor a bad kid? Not at
all. But to say this has already become a confusing one to follow is an understatement. I'm glad I don't have to be emotionally vested in this kid coming to South Bend anymore, 'cause any school still legitimately on that list could be in for a real bumpy ride.
