| I've lived in PA my entire life. The eastern half of the state tends to gravitate toward PSU and the western half towards Pitt. I think that the recent decline of Pitt football has a lot to do with the Sweat/Pryor recruiting. It is a shame, because Pitt has done a lot with their facilities, and tried to hire a coach with an NFL history. I'm just not sure that Wanny is the guy.
I've been a ND guy my entire life as well, so my feelings toward Pitt are more sentimental than anything. But, I agree I don't see where the OSU connections come from. |
