| I don't think he'd take Pryor in at this point at QB, no matter what. We turned away Mitch Mustain in favor of guys that committed earlier, and with Crist on board, we'll turn Pryor away at QB too. This won't be a 28 man class, so I doubt we could even afford to bring in a 2nd QB and forsake an offer at, say, OL, DL, or WR.
It was a nice fantasy, thinking of the second coming of Vince Young at ND, but that ship has sailed. South Bend is relatively hard for his wheelchair bound father to get to, there are already a bunch of other QB's on the roster, and if hoops is a point of interest for him, he could stay closer to home and still get better hoops from Ohio State or Pittsburgh.
My guess is, depending on the b-ball issue, his main contenders are PSU, OSU, WVU, and Pitt. If he gives up his self proclaimed first love of B-ball with his collegiate decision, the first three win out. If he wants to keep the B-ball pipe dream still going, my guess is the last three take the lead for him. |
