What I can confidently say is he plans to take his trips, and research each school before he makes his decision. I can also tell you that he was speechless (literally) when he got the offer from ND, and that he went home and was on the verge of tears at being offered by ND. Heard it from his own mouth when he was doing an interview over the phone, so it is obviously a good sign for ND. Google "Irish Eyes Power Hour" if you want to hear it yourself. And FWIW, I think they wait for him, and if some of the longer shots take too long, then you see a guy like Kabongo get an offer. |
It was actually on his Power Hour interview that Hafis told Mike Frank that he may wait until NSD to decide. That does not mean that he will, and in fact, if nothing dramatically changes between now and his Official Visit to ND, IMO there is a really good chance that he will commit to ND after his Official Visit.

The Hafis Williams interview starts at the 2:40 point, and ends at 17:15. Hafis’s comments on deciding start at about the 11:40 mark, and it is clear that at that point he really had no idea when he was going to decide, even though he said he may do it on NSD.
