My buddy doesn't really believe that, because if somebody's silently committed, he knows about it. The guy knew about Joe McKnight before anyone else, so take that FWIW.
If he is already a silent commit, I would be surprised if he actually shows up with McDonald on Wednesday. Either way he may be definitely leaning that way because the Poodle is now allegedly spinning a yarn that Corp (yes, he's the QB that all of the USC people were saying is actually better than JC) is not going to play QB now. If that part is true, it just shows that the Poodle will do anything to get a recruit (big surprise there, huh) because Corp is not physically suited to play any other position than QB. I think it's all a bunch of BS anyway for 2 reasons, Crist is too smart to fall for the Corp BS, and the NDHS Trojan crowd knows for sure that McDonald is going to commit to ND on Wednesday, so the Crist Trojan rumors may be to save a little face next week. I hate to jinx the McDonald thing but the USC recruiting board has taken him from a "High Priority" in January, to a "Priority" in March, to now just "evaluating". This is their typical way of saying that we were not really interested in the guy anyway, and is a sure fire indication that they expect McDonald to commit to another school.

I'm not saying that Crist will not end up at USC, he most likely will, but if he shows up with McDonald on Wednesday, then I think ND still has a shot at him. If he doesn't then you know the silent commit rumor is correct.
