So IMO Weis & Co. will look to take atleast 1 QB per year. some years they might not take any because they the top talent that they will want won't want to come and be behind 3 or 4 others. |
I agree completely, who knows what could happen in the future. Jimmy could earn the starting job while another QB transfers and god forbid Jimmy suffers a season ending injury then we only would have two deep at QB. I agree Charlie should try to recruit one quality QB each year in order to keep our talent pool deep and protect our offense. After seeing the transformation in Brady and the top QB in the country come to ND (i assume to apprentice under charlie) I believe many top QBs will seek out Notre Dame in the future even if they have to sit for a year or two in order to be taught by the best there is in that role.
